Data You Give Us Directly
When you type a name or a date of birth into a search box here, the entry goes straight to the outside company that runs that search. It processes the query and returns the results. This site does not store or log what you typed.
If you send an email to this site, the message stays with the team so a reply is possible. It is not shared outside the organization unless a legal obligation forces it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Each page load hands the server a few technical details about the visit:
- The IP address your device is using
- Your browser and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- Which pages you opened and how long each stayed on screen
- The site you came from, if you arrived through a link
- A timestamp for every page view
Cookies do part of this work. They are small files a site stores on your device, and they show which pages draw traffic and where readers leave. Analytics services pull that traffic into aggregate numbers. Your browser settings let you refuse cookies, and some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
What We Do With This Data
The information collected above gets used for a short list of purposes. It is not sold, and it is not compiled into a consumer file.
- Keeping the site online and loading quickly
- Passing a search request to the right partner service
- Seeing which pages help readers and which need repair
- Finding and fixing technical faults
- Serving ads that may match a visitor's interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, compile, maintain, or sell any database of warrants or personal court records. What it publishes is general guidance about where LaSalle Parish warrant records are held and how a reader can ask the holder about them. The records themselves stay with the offices that keep them, and Louisiana's Public Records Law, La. R.S. 44:1 et seq., governs public access to them; La. R.S. 44:3 lists the material that stays confidential. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing it collects about visitors is assembled into a report about a third party.
Third-Party Search Partners
The search boxes here belong to outside companies. Whatever you enter into one of them is handled under that company's privacy policy rather than this one. Those partners decide how long they keep data and who else sees it. Read the partner's policy before you submit a search.
Links to Other Websites
Pages here link out to sheriff's office sites, court pages, legal aid groups, and outside search tools. A click takes you off this site, and the other site's privacy policy takes over at that point. Read it before you share personal details.
Some advertising partners track activity across sites so they can target ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not on this one.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold here. Some information can reach:
- Search partners that handle a query you start on this site
- Analytics services that measure traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place advertising on these pages
- Law enforcement or a government body when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Standard security practices are used to guard what this site collects. No internet service can promise perfect safety, and this one does not. Reasonable steps are taken, and a breach cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
This site is written for adults. Personal information from anyone under 18 is not knowingly collected. If you believe a minor shared data here, make contact and it will be deleted.
Your Data Rights
Louisiana law, including the state's database security breach notification statute, may give you rights over information a business holds about you. At a minimum, you can ask this site to:
- Show you a copy of what it holds about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your data
- Stop a particular kind of processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy can change. When it does, the new version replaces this one on the same page and carries a new effective date. Check back if you want to follow how visitor information gets handled.
